Class fees, $750 for a three day class, all materieals required for classes will be supplied! Students are welcome to bring their own tools or tools can be supplied.

Class times are: 8am to 4pm clean up time.

A non refundable, and non transferable deposit of $300 is required two weeks prior to the class commencent date. The balance paid on arrival to the studio on the fiirst day of class!

A home cooked lunch will be supplied on all three days with tea, coffee and soft drinks available throughout the day.

If you have any special dietary requirements please let us know beforehand  (i.e., vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc.) so we can cater for your needs.

Who we are!

Pat Carroll originally from Ireland is a well recognized face in the world of woodturning. He is a demonstrator, teacher and author of all things woodturning related. His passion for sharing his woodturning knowledge is only surpassed by his enthusiasim to make shavings at the lathe. 

Pat recently relocated to the USA, where he has set up a workshop at the home of Christine Smith, also an internationally known artist for her lifesize Raptor carvings.

Christine is also an acomplished woodturner!

Together they will be offering classes to those that are interesed. Classes will be tailored to suit students skill level, ability and as much as possibble any requests they may have. If you dont see a date that suits you, private classes can also be

arranged to suit individual or groups timeframes.

Where we are located!

Classes will be held in Murphy, North Carolina. This charming, peaceful mountain town situated in Western North Carolina is well known for Its scenic beauty, historic downtown, and outdoor recreation. 

Situated at the confluence of the Hiwassee and Valley Rivers, it offers easy access to hiking (River Walk), boating (Lake Hiwassee), and attractions like the Fields of the Wood and Harrah's Cherokee Valley River
